After 3 years, ISRO has finally come back with its Scientist Post (SC) Recruitments. As expected, they have changed the pattern of recruitment but not the post.

Eg: For Mechanical Engineering, Approximately Up to 230 Rank.
NO WRITTEN TEST: It is mentioned that vacancies will be filled up partially through GATE scores and partially through Written Tests. However, there is no mention of a written test in this notification. Seems like this vacancy is through the GATE score and the written test may come up in the future.

Candidates who are employed under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies etc. have to submit a "No Objection Certificate" from the employer concerned,... This means that basically ANYONE with a Job requires an NOC (Notice ‘Autonomous Bodies’).
... at the time of the Interview or as and when called for by ISRO. This means it should be with you at the time of the written test as well (If there is a written test, irrelevant in this case).
Note that you will require the NOC dated on or before your application.
A lot of candidates plan on getting NOC after the selection for the interview. This might cause problems because of the date mentioned on the NOC.
It is also mentioned clearly in the next line: “However, the candidate should apply for the post only under intimation to and with the prior permission of the employer.”
Original NOC should be carried for the interview.
The last date for submitting online application is: 19.12.2022

Rs 250
Deadline for fee submission: 21.12.2022
You are advised to make an online payment by 17.12.2022 to avoid any unexpected transaction failures/issues. (On the last day, the website may issue crashes due to heavy load)
